What contents and aesthetics emerge when we move beyond the conventions of contemporary dance? The Platform K dancers’ artistic input forms a starting point for the creation. The improvisation techniques developed by ZOO invite a wide-ranging movement language and spontaneous, intricate interactions with other dancers, the space or the music. The material grows into a composition that explores and expands the possibilities of dance.
“The creative process of this performance is essentially about the time you spend together and how this slowly reduces the distance between bodies.”
