Open Friday

(Almost) every Friday afternoon Platform K organises an Open Friday. Open Fridays are open classes in instant composition based on improvisation, for dancers with (basic) experience. Instant composition means (co-)creating movements in the moment, based on the space, the other dancers, your feelings, the music ... The classes are led by experienced guest teachers.

Danaé Bosman teaches the Open Fridays in December 2025. As a dancer, Danaé has collaborated on projects by Randi De Vlieghe/hetpaleis, fABULEUS, Andros Zins-Browne, Theater De Spiegel, Sylvie Huysman, Tuning People and Filip Van Huffel/Retina Dance Company. Together with Dafne Maes she founded LAP, a contemporary dance company passionate about education. More recently Danaé has been exploring her own fascination with (im)perfect bodies, which has resulted in the dance performance ON-, among other projects. Inclusion and education play an important role in Danaé’s artistic practice.
