Dansstroom: Gardenia

The group of experienced dancers at Platform K’s Ghent dance studio has been drawing inspiration from the legendary performance Gardenia (2010) by Frank Van Laecke and Alain Platel (les ballets C de la B). Together with coach Hendrik Lebon, a member of the original cast, and as a part of the Dansstroom project on dance repertoire organised by STUK, Danspunt and CEMPER, the dancers have been diving into the material. At the Body of Work festival they are presenting a short creation. An ode to non-conformity.
